HumanaCare's employee and family assistance program (EFAP) is a management tool paid for by the employer with the expectation that utilization of the program will decrease absenteeism, accidents and tardiness and will increase productivity. Affiliates will provide a responsive, professional service to the client that result in client organization loyalty, satisfaction, and retention.

The purpose and expectations of the EFAP are accomplished through an integrated system of policy and procedures to provide brief solution-oriented counseling, typically accomplished in one to six sessions. All Affiliates in the HumanaCare network should be professional and respectful in the delivery of services to clients and client organizations
