Experiencing a robbery or an assault, or witnessing an accidental death is a traumatic extraordinary event in the lives of your employees. Because of the unpleasant aspects of the situation, and the inability of people to avoid the situation, such incidents can create extreme reactions in those affected. Their behaviours are often confusing to themselves and to others.

Personal recovery can also have lingering after-effects from a trauma that may warrant a more intensive intervention. HumanaCare offers four critical incident responses, each with an increasing degree of involvement. Depending on the individual or group need of those affected by the event, our critical incident response may occur at one, or at all levels of intervention.
